For those of you who couldn't read my previous entries in German here's some background information.

My sister who's one year younger than me got an artificial hip joint this spring. Everything seemed to be ok but then suddenly this fall she got an infection and the artificial hip joint had to be removed. Since then she's been waiting for the infection to disappear completely before another surgery could be dared.

So today was the day and she got operated again. Hopefully everything will work out fine now with this new artificial hip joint. Apparently the surgery itself was satisfying, so keep your fingers crossed for my little sister.
